How we give back

At MINGUS MOUNTAIN LAW GROUP, PLLC we believe community giving is the best way to show our appreciation to the community that has blessed us with opportunity for well over a decade.

MINGUS MOUNTAIN LAW GROUP, PLLC gives 2% of every contingent fee earned to one of five area non-profit organizations designed to make our community better. The client gets to pick which organization shall receive the gift, making it a gift from the client as well.

Presently, we collectively give to the following:

Every year Mark donates an afternoon to participate in Law Day through the Community Legal Services. Law Day provides free legal guidance for hundreds of Yavapai County residents. Mark has also given dozens of hours annually to a local domestic violence legal advocacy.

MINGUS MOUNTAIN LAW GROUP, PLLC strongly believes in the power of education. Paying for college and law school himself, Mark understands the importance of scholarship funding for college students, as well as the encouragement a scholarship can provide. That is why every year MINGUS MOUNTAIN LAW GROUP, PLLC offers two $1,000 scholarships to high school seniors interested in the law.

To become a successful candidate, the senior must graduate from the following schools:

  • Prescott High School
  • Bradshaw Mountain High School
  • Trinity Christian
  • Tri-City Prep
  • Chino Valley High School
  • Mayer High School
  • BASIS

Candidate should complete an application found here. Generally, the applications are due on or before March 31 each year.
